WASHINGTON – Federal Reserve Chairman Alan Greenspan's term is due to expire on June 20, but with five weeks to go President Bush hasn't yet renominated him for the position for a fifth four-year term. The President is expected to renominate Greenspan, but even if his expected nomination is not approved by June 20, he would stay in place as acting chairman. White House officials have already stated that President Bush has no interest in naming anyone else to the chairman's spot. Greenspan is 78-years old.
