ALEXANDRIA, Va.-At deadline, NCUA announced that it had reached an agreement with the National Treasury Employees Union on a union vote. The Fair Labor Relations Administration will send out mail ballots to eligible employees beginning May 24 to be returned to the FLRA's San Francisco office, NCUA Director of Public and Congressional Affairs Cliff Northup explained. The FLRA will also mail notices to each NCUA regional office, which must be posted until June 29, the deadline for the mail-in ballots. On June 30, NCUA's central office in Alexandria, Va. and Region II, which is housed in the same building, will hold an on-site vote, Northup said. The FLRA will collect and tally all the votes June 30, he said. NCUA and NTEU then have five days following the vote to contest it.
