RIDGECREST, Calif. – AltaOne Federal Credit Union has presented a piece of history to the City of Ridgecrest – the photographic anthology of Ridgecrest Retrospect; a 32 framed black and white pictorial history of Ridgecrest circa 1940, which was once on display in the AltaOne corporate office. "The donation of the Ridgecrest Retrospect will allow all Ridgecrest citizens the opportunity to enjoy these wonderful historical images," said AltaOne FCU President/CEO Robert M. Boland. "We believe in supporting our community." The City Council voted to accept the framed collection on behalf of the Ridgecrest community. Boland also presented to the City Council copies of the no-longer-published book, Ridgecrest California, A Photographic Retrospect, from which the framed photographs were taken.
