RANCHO CUCAMONGA, Calif. – The Richard Myles Johnson Foundation has created a scholarship honoring California Credit Union League vice president Kim Bannan who died April 23 from complications from a heart attack she suffered earlier in the month. The Kim Bannan Memorial Scholarship Fund will be used to assist credit union professionals in pursuing educational opportunities to further their careers. The California Credit Union League has contributed $10,000 to the fund, and additional contributions are being received. Bannan was league vice president of credit union development and research and information, and was the League's liaison to the Foundation. Contributions to the Kim Bannan Memorial Scholarship Fund can be made to the Richard Myles Johnson Foundation, 9500 Cleveland Ave., Suite 200, Rancho Cucamonga, Calif. 91730.
