ELKHART, Ind. – John Katalinich, chief lending officer of Michiana Credit Union was named to the Freddie Mac Credit Union Advisory Board. The group is made up of 12 credit union representatives from mid- and large size credit unions in the U.S. The advisory board provides a forum for constructive dialogue between Freddie Mac and credit union representatives. The board also makes recommendations on industry issues and trends and facilitates confidential communications between credit unions and the housing Government-Sponsored Enterprise. Katalinich has worked at Michiana CU since September 2000. Prior to his current position, he worked there as mortgage manager, vice president of lending.
