SAN ANTONIO, Texas – Southwest Business Corp. has expanded its credit union division with the recent hire of Mark Hein as CEO of the subsidiary. Hein will provide executive leadership in all aspects of sales, planning, marketing, and product development for the credit union division of SWBC, an insurance, mortgage and investment provider with 1,200 clients nationwide. “For the past two years, SWBC has made a concerted effort to provide innovated services and products to help credit unions compete in today’s tough financial industry,” said Charlie Amato, chairman of SWBC. “Mark is one of the key players we’ve hired recently to focus on our credit unions and really give that division the leadership and strategic planning to take us and our institutions to the next level.” A graduate of West Virginia University, Hein has more than 15 years of experience as an executive team member for Design Business Systems and AEGON, USA/Creditor Resources, with key positions in sales and marketing and insurance experience including guaranteed asset protection and reinsurance services.
