HARRISBURG, Pa. - Pennsylvania Secretary of Banking William Schenck will be the keynote speaker at the Credit Union Development Conference on May 8 that will be held at the Four Points Sheraton Pittsburgh North in Pennsylvania. The event is sponsored by the NCUA, CUNA Mutual Group, Mid-Atlantic Corporate FCU, and the Pennsylvania Credit Union Association. The theme for the one-day conference is "Small Credit Unions Can Succeed," and a spokesperson for Schenck said his keynote will focus on issues specific to small credit unions and how the banking department can be helpful to small CUs. Schenk also intends to leave sufficient time for an interactive, question and answer period. The conference will also feature six breakout sessions on small credit union relevant topics.
