SAN ANTONIO, Texas – Clarke American was one of three companies recently honored by Quality New Mexico with that non-profit organization’s 2003 Companero Recognition for promoting quality improvement among New Mexico businesses, associations and other groups. To earn the Companero Recognition, an organization must be nominated by a Quality New Mexico award recipient and evaluated by Quality New Mexico examiners. Clarke American was nominated for the honor by Sandia Laboratory FCU, Albuquerque, N.M. The credit union cited Clarke American for a five-year relationship marked by performance excellence, knowledge sharing, a positive approach to business, enthusiasm, and listening. “If we are going to advance performance excellence in our state and nation, what an excellent opportunity to recognize, in a small way, those who help others because we are all on this journey toward excellence together. This recognition is a pat on the back for Clarke American for being a model of performance excellence,” said Julia Gabaldon, president/CEO of Quality New Mexico.
