WALLINGFORD, Conn. – Constitution State Corporate Credit Union has signed Atlanta-based VSoft Corp. to be the $1.8 billion corporate's provider of Check 21 solutions. VSoft's Check 21 product suite includes the ability to create MICR-readable substitute share drafts and to electronically supply draft images to member credit unions and the Federal Reserve throughout the day instead of in a single batch, the company said. "As the deadline for Check 21 compliance approaches, our members are primarily concerned with educating their staff on the handling of substitute checks, the re-credit process and providing proper Check 21 disclosures to their members," said Noreen Lagasse, manager of item processing at Constitution. Constitution is also preparing to launch MyCheckImages.com, an online check-image access solution for natural-person CUs' members that the corporate developed in partnership with VSoft. MyCheckImages.com will allow credit union members to view high quality share draft images online, print images and e-mail or fax images directly from the Web, as well as request share draft changes online.
