MIDWAY, Utah – Reed Data Inc., a longtime provider of optical storage and backup systems to credit unions, has introduced an Internet-based backup and offsite disaster recovery solution. The 2020iSync system is browser based and allows credit unions to backup data for both routine and emergency purposes through a secure 128-bit SSL connection over the Internet, said Paul Provenzano, professional services sales manager at Reed Data. "With 2020iSyncT, a credit union's mission critical data is backed up and synchronized with a secure, off-site server so that data can be recovered, even if the computer system cannot," Provenzano said.
