ALEXANDRIA, Va.-All three NCUA Board members and agency staff were on hand to receive delegates from the Taiwanese credit union movement recently. NCUA hosted 14 members of the Taiwan Cooperative Association for the first time as part of the agency's International Visitors Program. The program hosts about 12 visits a year for credit union movement around the globe. "We were pleased to host this working-visit with a delegation representing the Taiwan Cooperative Association and look forward to an ongoing dialogue to assist in their efforts to further develop a safe and sound Taiwanese financial cooperative system," Dollar said. Regulators and parliamentarians from Kenya will visit NCUA March 11 and 12 to follow up on November 2003 meeting.
