PAUL, Minn.- The Securian Financial Group has promoted the following employees: Brian Anderson to second vice president, group case underwriting; Barbara Baumann to second vice president mortgage marketing/ administration; Von Peterson to second vice president group client relationships; Steve Thor second vice president, individual/SFS/securian trust systems; and Bruce Shay to senior vice president retirement plan services. Securian Financial Group is the parent of Minnesota Life Insurance Company, its subsidiaries and affiliates. The company was founded in 1880 and provides financial services for such as insurance, pensions and investments.
