HERNDON, Va. – Members of Northwest Federal Credit Union now have single sign-on access to their electronic statements and their Internet banking service. The $1.2 billion CU's e-statement provider, DigitalMailer, said it has collaborated with Certegy to provide a secure interface between the e-statement service and Certegy's Premier Internet Banking platform. Northwest FCU is the first to take advantage of the new functionality. "The experiences of our credit union clients show clearly that the opportunity to sign up members for electronic statements doubles when members have multiple ways to access their statements," said Ron Daly, a former Northwest FCU executive who now is founder and president of DigitalMailer. Northwest FCU members can access their electronic statements from the credit union's Web site, or from a link in their monthly e-mail notifications. About 20,000 members now use the e-statement option.
