AUSTIN, Texas and MELVILLE, N.Y. – DealerTrack and Teres Solutions Inc. have partnered to create a solution they say improves the auto loan application submittal, review and funding process for financial institutions, auto dealerships, and consumers. The two companies have integrated DealerTrack's Web-based auto finance platform for dealerships with TSI's Software Application for Integrated Lending (SAIL), which is specifically designed for credit unions' indirect lending programs. The integration allows financing sources using SAIL software to receive credit application data electronically from the DealerTrack platform and respond with an instant decision, thus making the auto loan and lease application process faster, more efficient and more accurate. DealerTrack said its platform is being used by approximately 22,000 dealerships in the U.S. When credit application data is entered in to the platform, the information can be electronically transmitted directly in to a credit union's SAIL system. The CU in turn can then provide the dealer an immediate decision using SAIL's Autopilot customizable automatic credit approval engine feature. The TSI SAIL family of software products provides streamlined indirect loan application processing as well as other Web-base business enhancement tools for CUs.
