BETHPAGE, N.Y. – Title insurance CUSOs are also hitting New York with Bethpage Management Services, a wholly owned subsidiary of Bethpage Federal Credit Union, forming its new CUSO named Land Bound Services, LLC. Land Bound Services, LLC will provide title insurance services for residential and commercial properties. “We are offering members the ability to apply for a mortgage, get instant approval, credit report and appraisal, apply for title insurance, get a title search, municipal searches and a survey inspection within days,” said Bethpage Management Services COO Michele Dean. “And all at a discount when compared with other title agencies throughout New York.” According to Land Bound Services President Susan T. Baran, attentive service and speed in administering title reports leading to prompt closings will be the CUSO’s promise to members. “While title insurance premiums remain statutory, we keep a tight reign on the municipal searches and survey inspections and offer up to $450 off to home buyers when a Bethpage member uses Land Bound as its title insurance provider,” said Baran. “Our turnaround time for a title search can be under three hours. We are also in the process of providing our clients with the ability to view their searches online to further facilitate the closing process, bypassing mailings and paperwork.”
