Focus One Community Credit Union, Monrovia, Calif., has held a ribbon cutting ceremony on its new headquarters. The new facility is part of the credit union's strategy to better serve its members. Credit Union Central Falls, R.I., has broken ground on a 60,000 square-foot corporate center in Smithfield. The three-story building will include a full-service branch and administrative/operations corporate offices. ESL Federal Credit Union, Rochester, N.Y., has celebrated the opening of its newest branch in Irondequoit. The new, 6,000 square-foot facility features seven teller windows and an ATM in the vestibule. In addition, a remote teller window and two ATM machines will conveniently serve drive-up members. CommunityAmerica Credit Union, Lenexa, Kansas, has hosted the grand opening festivities of its HyVee branch. The facility occupies 475 square-feet and offers a full range of financial services including checking and savings accounts, mortgages, loan approvals in minutes and more. To celebrate the opening, CommunityAmerica CU gave away a cart full of groceries to lucky members. JAX Federal Credit Union, Jacksonville, Fla., has hosted a full weekend of grand opening festivities at its newest location in Orange Park. The celebration kicked-off with a special ribbon-cutting ceremony, which more than 1,000 people attended. Macomb Schools and Government Credit Union, Clinton Township, Mich., has broken ground on its sixth branch office. The branch features will include four drive-thru windows and over 5,000 square-feet of member service space. Also incorporated in the Hall Road Branch will be custom signage, Save-A-Lot Squad Kids Club area, a plasma screen marketing display, built in 32-inch TV monitors in the member waiting area, Internet work station, 24-hour access ATM, and a coffee bar. First Capital Federal Credit Union, Hanover, Pa. has announced plans to relocate its Hanover branch. The branch will offer members more business hours, drive-up services and an easy-to-access location near downtown. The new Hanover branch will be open on April 20, 2004. Gulf Winds Federal Credit Union, Pensacola, Fla., has broken ground on its new downtown Atmore branch. The full-service facility will include drive-thru lanes, drive-up night deposit and several state of the art technology upgrades. The branch is scheduled to open in Spring 2004. Auto Body Credit Union, Lansing, Mich., has opened the doors to a new 5,000 square-foot facility. The new full service branch includes a drive-up ATM and two additional drive-up teller windows for member convenience.
