OLYMPIA, Wash. – A new advertising campaign for Washington State Employees Credit Union is making the most of its latest branch locations. The "Close to You" awareness campaign plays up WSECU's brand promise of "making members' lives easier." Launched using outdoor boards and transit displays, the campaign designed by communications consultant firm JayRay is now hitting the airwaves. In one radio spot an obviously panicky man cries out in fear, "It's getting closer!" He then cautiously asks, "Should I be scared?" "Naah, it's just another new Washington State Employees Credit Union branch," replies the announcer.
