ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – Steve Marcum has been promoted to president/CEO of $398 million U.S. New Mexico Federal Credit Union. The board of directors named Marcum to take the helm on Feb. 17. Marcum joined the credit union in May 2001 and served as its senior vice president of commercial lending. He replaces James Raquet who left the credit union in May 2003 and was hired in January 2004 as president/CEO of $270 million Del Norte Credit Union in Los Alamos, N.M. Chartered in 1935, U.S. New Mexico FCU serves employees of the federal government and has more than 45,000 members.
