ARLINGTON, Va.-NAFCU has announced that it is looking nominees for its annual awards competitions. NAFCU’s “Beyond Expectations” awards competition recognizes credit unions and officials for Federal Credit Union of the Year, Professional of the Year, and Volunteer of the Year in two asset size categories divided at that $150 million level. NAFCU will also give awards in seven different categories for marketing and the Innovation Showcase Awards, which honors credit unions for unique programs. These will be awarded during NAFCU’s 37th Annual Conference and Exhibition in July. Additionally, NAFCU is seeking recipients for the Paul Revere and White Hat awards for grassroots activism. The Paul Revere Award nomination is not due until Aug. 2, 2004. The White Hat Award automatically goes to the credit union contributing the most funds to NAFCU/PAC. These two awards will be presented during NAFCU’s 2004 Congressional Caucus in September.
