GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Campus USA Credit Union recently announced it has entered the member business lending arena and that its CEO has become chairman of a statewide business lending consortium. CAMPUS USA is now offering businesses in its field of membership loans ranging from $50,000 to $50 million, according to the credit union. “Due to demand from the business community we added a small business loan department last year,” the credit union’s CEO, Larry Scott, said. “Now our association with the Cypress Group gives us the lending and loan servicing expertise to compete with any regional or national bank. And we still offer the world class service and local decision-making our members have come to expect.” CAMPUS USA, with over $566 million in assets, operates offices in Alachua, Columbia, and Marion Counties serving more than 70,000 members.
