DEERFIELD BEACH, Fla. – Mosaic Software is finding the credit union industry to be a fertile market for its transaction processing solutions. The global EFT firm which markets the popular Postilion point-of-sale software said of the 42 clients it added last year, 20 of them were credit unions, and it has already added five CU clients so far in 2004. Other new clients included several major retailers, who use Postilion for POS transaction processing, gift & loyalty card applications, and as a corporate gateway for centralized transaction switching & management reporting. Postilion was also chosen for a next-generation insurance benefits disbursement system, displacing millions of paper checks with pre-paid debit cards. CEO Johann Dreyer said a continued shift within the transaction processing industry away from legacy systems toward more efficient and cost-effective open systems will help the company's success going forward.
