SALT LAKE CITY – In the first organization shakeup following the appointment of a new CEO in December, the Utah League of Credit Unions confirmed Brooke Moea’i, senior vice president of dues, has resigned. “It was a reduction in force as we have had a restructuring at one level of management,” explained Lynne Kuehne, executive vice president, in noting Moea’i's departure in mid-January. While overseeing dues and service operations, at one time Moea’i also was part of the lobbying team in the state capitol fending off banker attacks. She held the same title as senior vice president as Scott Simpson, who was named league president and CEO on Dec. 18. Simpson, former executive director of the GOP in Utah, had been senior vice president of government relations for the League and took over the top staffing job succeeding Scott G. Earl, who resigned Nov. 30.
