State Employees Credit Union, Lansing, Mich., has raised $20,904 for Capital Area United Way. A stunt contest was held in which the top stunts with the highest amount of donations were performed. Stunts included a Tricycle Relay Race, Silly String Shoot Out, and Bungee Hoop Contest. Due in part to the use of the Internet, SECU was able to exceed their anticipated goal in donations for the United Way by almost $5,000. Paragon Federal Credit Union, township of Washington, N.J., has donated $5,000 to the Bergen County Wildcats baseball team. The donation will go toward travel costs, equipment and league fees. The Bergen County Wildcats, a traveling club team in the 12-year old division represents some of New Jersey’s finest youth-aged players.
