BROOKLYN, N.Y. – New York City Council Member Yvette Clarke recently joined Municipal Credit Union after visiting the credit union's Brooklyn branch and hearing about its benefits. Clarke, who represents Brooklyn's 40th District, said she was "excited to take advantage of the excellent services (that Municipal Credit Union) provides" and that the credit union "can assist working men and women of this city with securing their family's fiscal future." Municipal CU has more than 300,000 members and in excess of $1.2 billion in assets. Its field-of-membership includes City, State and Federal employees, as well as education and health care professionals.
