Citadel Federal Credit Union, Thorndale, Pa., has presented lucky member Patrick Benzing $1,000 in Exton Square Mall certificates. Benzing was the winner of the Citadel VIP Shopping Spree” contest, which was held in conjunction with Citadel’s annual sponsorship of the `Santa set’ at the mall. Digital Federal Credit Union, Minneapolis, Minn., has presented Priority Publications with the DCU Partnership Excellence Award in recognition for its service. Only 17 winners out of hundreds of vendors were selected to receive the honor. Priority Publications publishes several newsletters for DCU, including Members’ Monthly, Network, New Money and Kids’ Club Quarterly. Spokane Teachers Credit Union, Wash., has been named the “Large Business of the Year” by the Spokane Valley Chamber of Commerce. The chamber cited STCU for exemplifying “attributes of excellence in leadership within their organization and who have advanced business conditions in the community.” In addition, the chamber presented the “Community Caring Award” to STCU Pubic Relations/Business Development director Kathleen Kozlowski. Oregon Community Credit Union, Eugene, has received two Distinguished Service Awards from the Willamette Chapter of the Credit Union Association of Oregon. This year OCCU Chief Operating Officer Mandy Jones has been named the Executive of the Year and Chairman Truman Baird has been named the Volunteer of the Year. Both were recognized for their positive leadership skills. In addition, the CUAO has presented board director Don Thomas the Volunteer of the Year award. OCCU Human Resources Manager Angela Vezzetti has been awarded the Certified Credit Union Executive designation from CUNA. Central Florida Educators Federal Credit Union, Orlando, has announced its Distinguished Employees of the Month as Luis Jiminez and Kay Lamour. In addition, Cathy Munshower has been named the Distinguished Manager for the third quarter of 2003. Distinguished employees and managers are cited for outstanding performance, teamwork and service to the credit union and its members.
