ALEXANDRIA, Va.-NCUA Board Member Debbie Matz has brought the information from her Partnering and Leadership Successes workshops to the World Wide Web. "We have made these presentations available so that more credit unions can adapt best practices to enhance member services and reach more people in their field of membership," Matz explained. To access the programs from NCUA's Web site (www.ncua.gov), click on PALS located to the left on the agency's home page, then workshop presentations. A free CD of the presentations is also available by contacting Matz' office at (703) 518-6318. The MBL presentation offers ideas on how to set up programs, as well as building relationships, diversifying credit risks, improving net yields and attracting deposits and loans. The other program, "Making the Latino Connection," features detailed descriptions of tools and programs that credit unions have successfully used to reach out to the Latinos in their communities.
