WASHINGTON-House Financial Services Committee Chairman Mike Oxley (R-Ohio) has agreed to address CUNA's Governmental Affairs Conference next month. Oxley is slated to speak on Tuesday, Feb. 24 during the GAC. Additionally, CUNA has extended the "early bird" registration deadline from Jan. 16 to Jan. 23. Already scheduled to speak at GAC are Federal Reserve Board Chairman Alan Greenspan, Treasury Secretary John Snow, Senate Banking Committee Chairman Richard Shelby (R-Ala.), House Financial Institutions and Consumer Credit Subcommittee Chairman Spencer Bachus (R-Ala.), House Small Business Committee Chairman Donald Manzullo (R-Ill.), and all three NCUA Board members.
