ALBANY, N.Y. – Representative Michael McNulty (D-N.Y.) and Senator Neil Breslin (D-N.Y.) paid a visit to Empire Corporate’s Albany, New York headquarters recently. The visit was coordinated in conjunction with the New York State CU League. The two lawmakers toured the facility and visited with several of Empire’s senior managers. Corporates have become more active in reaching out to members of Congress. The Association of Corporate CUs has a new program that sets up lawmaker visits at corporate facilities. “As a corporate credit union, we strongly believe that keeping credit union issues in the forefront of lawmakers’ minds is invaluable to credit unions’ collective future,” said Dirck Van Deusen, SVP of Corporate Relations for Empire.
