ONTARIO, Calif. – CO-OP Network, the nation's largest credit union owned fee-free ATM network posted its 11th consecutive year of increased transaction volume last year, the organization said, hitting 826 million transactions in 2003. "Our unprecedented growth, particularly in the South and Midwest, has been a catalyst for our continued success," said CO-OP Network CEO Robert Rose. "What's amazing to me is over a three-year timeframe, our transaction volume has jumped by more than 130%. This proves that our efforts to expand CO-OP Network's nationwide ATM presence are dramatically increasing our value to member credit unions." The organization also hit a monthly milestone in December 2003 of having 77 million transactions in that one month, the organization said. CO-OP Network credited the transaction growth to 2003′s addition of nearly 400 credit union clients, 2,200 ATMs and 6.5 million cardholders.
