RANCHO CUCAMONGA, Calif. – Congressman Paul Kanjorski (D-Pa. ) will speak at the closing general session of the California Credit Union League's 2004 Big Valley Educational Conference. The three-day conference will be held March 18-20 at the DoubleTree Hotel, Marriott Hotel, and Monterey Conference Center in Monterey, Calif. Kanjorski, a long-time supporter of credit unions and one of the leading sponsors of H.R. 1151, the Credit Union Membership Access Act, will talk about the Credit Union Regulatory Improvements Act (H.R. 3579). Kanjorski, the second ranking Democrat on the House Financial Services Committee, is the primary co-sponsor of that measure.
