WALLINGFORD, Conn. – The Connecticut Credit Union Association has begun accepting applications for the position of president/CEO to fill the spot that will be vacant when its current President/CEO Kevin Stewart leaves CCUA later this month. Last December, Stewart announced his resignation from CCUA effective Jan. 23. After more than eight years of service with CCUA, he is returning to Texas with his family and will work as executive vice president, strategic services at Texans CU in Richardson. CCUA Communications Coordinator Bill Clarke said the association placed `help wanted' ads in several trade publications, and a six-person search committee made up of association board members, is responsible for evaluating all responses. Applications will be accepted until Jan. 31.
