MADISON, Wis.- The African American Credit Union Coalition (AACUC) and CUES have teamed up to offer a scholarship to an AACUC member to attend the CEO Institute program. The scholarship totals $20,700 and will pay the full tuition for all three segments of CEO Institute, including costs of rooming and most meals. Applications for the scholarship will be accepted January 12 through February 6, 2004. AACUC Chairwoman Helen Godfrey and CUES’ Chairwoman Mickey Wilson will present the scholarship to one lucky recipient on February 23, 2004 at the AACUC Winter networking meeting during the CUNA Governmental Affairs Conference. The CEO Institute is an executive education program developed by CUES and designed specifically for credit union senior executives. The advanced academic and leadership experience is held over three years at highly respected business schools. In 2004, CEO Institute will be held at The Steinberg Conference Center at The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia, April 4-9; Johnson Graduate School of Management, Cornell University, Ithaca, N.Y., April 18-23; and Darden Graduate School of Business Administration, University of Virginia, Charlottesville, Va., May 2-7. Those who complete the CEO Institute program and two post-segment projects are eligible to become a Certified Chief Executive.
