LATHAM, N.Y. – One cute terrycloth lion has helped credit unions here raise over $78,000 as part of Credit Unions Care for Kids. All proceeds have been donated to local children programs and organizations that are dedicated to serving children in need. “We are proud of the dedication our credit unions’ have to this program,” said League President/CEO William J. Mellin. “This program is just one more way in which New York credit unions are making a difference in their communities.”
