LANSING, Mich. – Ken Ross, the former vice president of regulatory and legal affairs for the Michigan Credit Union League, was named chief of staff by Michigan Office of Financial and Insurance Services Commissioner Linda Watters, effective Dec. 22. Ross will primarily be responsible for working with OFIS staff, a variety of external stakeholders and administration officials to ensure the execution of the Commissioner's agenda; overseeing the management of agency operations; and the management of OFIS media, public relations, and legislative operations. Before working at the Michigan League, Ross served as an assistant attorney general under Attorneys General Frank Kelley and Jennifer Granholm. He also served as chief of staff for State Rep. Agnes Dobronski.
