ISSAQUAH, Wash. – A man filling a Boeing Employees Credit Union ATM with cash was shot in the shoulder early in the morning of December 26, according to an account in the Seattle Post Intelligencer. The man, who was not identified as a credit union employee, was helping another man service the remote ATM with cash when they were approached by a man with a gun. The robber, who was dressed in all black clothing and wearing a red bandana over the lower part of his face, demanded the money be put into a bag. He then shot one of the men in the shoulder before running off. King County sheriff's deputies with a police dog tried to track the suspect but were unsuccessful in locating him. The 21-year-old victim was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment of a gunshot wound, according to the paper. No one from BECU was available to comment on the incident.
