WASHINGTON-Senate Banking Committee Chairman Richard Shelby (R-Ala.) has been added to the growing list of speakers for CUNA's 2004 Governmental Affairs Conference. Shelby joins the GAC speaker list with Federal Reserve Board Chairman Alan Greenspan and Treasury Secretary John Snow. It will be his first address to the GAC since becoming chairman. Additionally, it was previously announced that American Bankers Association Chairman Ken Fergeson, chairman of NBandC, a $270 million bank in Altus, Okla. will debate Jim Blaine, CEO of the $11 billion State Employees Credit Union in North Carolina.
