LAS VEGAS – Community One FCU has become the latest equity owner in Business Partners LLC, formerly a wholly-owned CUSO called Telesis Partnerships LLC of Telesis Community CU, Chatsworth, Calif. Community One is currently the only Nevada CU that has become an equity owner in the member business lending CUSO. Acknowledging that the “lending climate in Las Vegas is challenging,” Community One President/CEO Alan Pughes said “through Business Partners, Community One can diversify by investing in and receiving a substantial return on member business loans, with the advantage of fast to market expertise that could potentially take us years to gain.”
