WASHINGTON – An employee at the $20 million Washington Postal Employees FCU said the credit union plans to return to its quarters in the old Brentwood postal facility in February 2004. The credit union and its employees were kicked out of the facility 26 months ago after letters contaminated with anthrax passed through the machinery and contaminated postal workers, two of whom died. The facility has received a $130 million cleaning and fumigation since the anthrax attack and administrative workers began moving back into the facility on December 5. The facility will be renamed for Joseph Curseen Jr., 47, of Clinton, Maryland, and Thomas Morris Jr., 55, of Suitland, Maryland, the postal employees and credit union members who were killed by the illness.
