MOORPARK, Calif. – No one has been at credit union data processor XP Systems longer than John Edwards, a man known for knowing personally leaders from just about every one of XP's 300 or so CU clients. Earlier this year, Fiserv, the parent company of XP Systems tapped Edwards as the new president of XP. Edwards replaced Bill Anderson who resigned in May to pursue other interests. XP is in an interesting time of its evolution. It is in the midst of rolling out a complete revamp of its core system. The new system, known as XP2, is being phased in at credit unions. Edwards will have to help shepherd the way as new systems are always trying on CUs.
