Evangelical Christian Credit Union, Brea, Calif., has named David Van Winkle vice president of sales for the credit union’s church & ministry lending business. Global Credit Union, Spokane, Wash., President/CEO John R. Madri has announced that after over 33 years of service he will retire on December 31, 2003. Global CU Executive Vice President/Chief Operating Officer Jack L. Fallis Jr. has been tapped to assume responsibilities as president/CEO effective Jan. 1, 2004. In addition, GCU has named John MacPhee senior loan officer. Cabrilo Credit Union, San Diego, has named Carla Simpson Federal Building branch manager. Spokane Teachers Credit Union, Wash., Card Services Manager Diana Hickman, has been elected board director for the Northwest Card Association. The Northwest Card Association is made up of over 100 credit card issuing and acquiring financial institutions and support vendors doing business in the Northwest. Patelco Credit Union, San Francisco, has named Alison Jones senior vice president of marketing. Washington State Employees Credit Union, Olympia, Service Corporation President/CEO Tristram S. Coffin has been elected board director of BALANCE. BALANCE is a national consumer financial counseling service and a partner of WSECU.
