ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. – PSCU Financial Services, the card processor and administration firm for over 500 credit unions that process their credit card transactions with Denver-based First Data Corporation, is celebrating reaching over four million accounts from 185 credit unions in its DebitAdvantage program. “The number of debit account cardholders and the transactions they generate continues to grow in the credit union industry, despite the recent decrease in debit card interchange fees,” PSCU said. The DebitAdvantage program is PSCU’s debit card management program that contains a rewards element in addition to other debit card management strategies. PSCU pointed in particular to its success in partnering with the New Jersey-based NYCE Corporation. First Data is the majority owner of NYCE and the relationship has helped PSCU. “NYCE provides competitively priced network routing and access to complement PSCU Financial Services’ signature, PIN and ATM driving capabilities,” the company said.
