Dane County Credit Union, Madison, Wis., has held a ribbon-cutting ceremony for its latest west side branch in Madison. The 8,000 square-foot building is a full service facility with a four-lane drive-up designed by Bray Associate Architects of Middleton and built by Roberts Construction of Madison. The special ribbon, which was made of cash was donated to the Dane County Humane Society after the ceremony. Redwood Credit Union, Santa Rosa, Calif., has hosted a grand opening celebration for its newest branch. The full-service West College Avenue branch features new account and loan services, walk-up and drive-up ATMs, and convenient parking. More than 350 people, including a variety of members, officials and staff, turned out for the celebration which featured a festive harvest theme, breakfast and lunch foods, free giveaways, jazz music, and a face-painter – dressed as an Autumn Faerie – for the children. Alabama Telco Credit Union, Birmingham, has announced plans to relocate its Center Point office to Trussville, Alabama. Alabama Telco currently has 13 branches throughout Alabama with six locations serving the Birmingham area. The Trussville location is scheduled to open in the Spring of 2004. Washington State Employees Credit Union, Olympia, has opened a new Everett branch. The new facility features drive-up teller service, drive-up ATMs and safe deposit boxes. The Everett branch is the first branch to display the credit union’s new logo. Provident Credit Union, Belmont, Calif., has tapped design/build firm DEI, Inc., to renovate another branch. The renovation will include a new Caf and Tech Center, which will provide an area where members can access account and product information, a children’s area and new finishes throughout the interior. Advantage One Federal Credit Union, Brownstown Township, Mich., has opened the doors to its new main branch. The new main office features four drive-up lanes and a 24-hour drive-up ATM, along with multiple teller stations and many private member service offices, where members can conduct their financial business in private.
