BROOKFIELD, Wis. – Fiserv said that it plans to open a new check-image capture facility in El Paso, Texas as part of a deal with Loomis, Fargo & Co. Fiserv will take over an existing Loomis, Fargo & Co. processing center, yet Loomis, Fargo & Co. employees will use Fiserv equipment to capture check images, which will be electronically sent to Fiserv facilities. The new Fiserv location will be linked with the Fiserv Image Archive, a massive image archive. Fiserv has 49 check processing centers throughout the country.
