WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. – Whether or not credit union directors should be paid is obviously a hot-button issue for credit union leaders. A Credit Union Times online voting poll on this topic generated the most votes ever in the polls – 401. The results were relatively close, but a majority of voters do not think directors should be paid. The poll question and results follow: "As credit unions become larger and more complex should credit unions have the option of paying directors?" * Yes 38.9% * No 56.86% * Not Sure 4.24% Total 401 votes
