PORTLAND, Ore. – Online banking vendor Corillian Corp. and payments and account aggregation specialist CashEdge announced recently that they are expanding their strategic partnership. Corillian will integrate CashEdge's Online Money Movement, Inter-Institution Transfer, and Pay Anyone services into Corillian's Voyager Internet banking platform. Included will be applications for consumer and small business banking, corporate cash management and credit card management. Corillian and CashEdge first entered into a strategic partnership in November 2002 to offer CashEdge's Advanced Account Aggregation platform as part of Corillian's OneSource Register aggregation and online register application on the Corillian Voyager platform. Corillian also announced this week that it had reached a new benchmark in online banking and bill payment scalability. In tests at the IBM Center for Microsoft Technologies in Kirkland, Wash., the Voyager platform supported more than 30,000 concurrent online banking customers performing transactions simultaneously, a 250% increase compared to previous benchmark results. In addition, the system was able to perform more than 1.7 million transactions in one hour, the company said.
