MOUNDS VIEW, Minn. – The waiting is over. Three months after Liberty Internet Services and CUNA Network Services merged with Liberty becoming the majority and controlling shareholder, the new company has been given a name – Cavion Plus. "We believe our new name and logo truly represent our vision and commitment," said Mike Provenzano, Cavion Plus CEO. The two companies merged in August (CU Times, Aug. 13). Provenzano said the new name and logo "represent our vision and commitment. First we are emphasizing Cavion's positive reputation in the marketplace as a technology innovator and a quality provider." The Cavion Plus logo also features "e-business essentials" and the designation "a Liberty company." He added that the Plus in the name represents the vital importance of Liberty Online. "Plus also stands for our many strategic partnerships, and the unlimited opportunities the new organization brings to the marketplace," he said.
