ALEXANDRIA, Va. – NCUA Vice Chair JoAnn Johnson gave the keynote address at the grand opening of the newest Latino Community Credit Union branch for in Fayetteville, N.C. Nov. 17. “The Latino Community Credit Union is realizing great results in reaching out to their community, which is often left behind and in need of affordable financial services,” Johnson said. “The credit union is making a real difference for thousands of Latino families by providing economic empowerment and financial self-sufficiency in their community.” Latino Community Credit Union is the first financial services institution in the state aimed at its growing Latino population.
