CINCINNATI, Ohio – Design/build firm DEI Inc. has taken “time-savings” to a new level. DEI now starts client meetings right at the airport when they are picked up in the VannGoh cruiser. (see picture) The cruiser is the latest addition to DEI’s two-day Think Tank sessions, which involve meetings and brainstorming in the firm’s informal “Santa Fe” conference room. “If we are supposed to be creative, you’ve got to do some fun things,” said Cynthia Grow, visioneer and vice president of DEI. “I wanted a space that would inspire creativity and a place where people could let go of the everyday stresses of business-because that’s when the best ideas come out.” The VannGoh accommodates up to 10 passengers and is well stocked with an array of food and beverages. While touring other financial “entertailment” centers the DEI project team is on-board to answer questions, explain DEI’s history, and of course provide specific process and project details. “Everyone is so time-starved these days that we wanted to show our clients that we appreciate them taking time out of their busy schedule to visit our headquarters,” said Grow. “So that means utilizing every moment of the clients’ time in a useful and beneficial way.”
