CHICAGO - There is a new resource available for credit union collection efforts. TransUnion has launched the TransUnion Collection Prioritization Service to help make collection activities more efficient. The service identifies uncollectable accounts and ranks accounts most likely to be recovered using 180 credit characteristics to determine predictive data for each account. "TransUnion Collection Prioritization Service was specifically designed to optimize collection efforts for both credit grantor's in-house departments and third-party collections agencies, and has already proved successful with initial customers," said TransUnion Senior Director of Product Management Michael O'Connell.
