HIGHTSTOWN, N.J. – The New Jersey Credit Union League plans to have a new online compliance information system called Infosight, running by the first quarter of 2004. Infosight is a shared system that was created in January 2003 by the Florida, Georgia, Michigan, Ohio, and Texas leagues. The Web-based service will give NJCUL-affiliated state and federal credit unions a place to go to learn more about complying with the numerous state and federal laws and regulations affecting CUs' business affairs. It also will give CUs immediate and easy access to important compliance topics such as board responsibilities and bankruptcy and collections, and the ability to access regulatory and compliance information from other states.
